Role Context

Fidelity Finance Associates support business segments including Retail, Workplace Investing, and Institutional. You will own specific reporting deliverables and participate in the annual budgeting cycle within your first six months. Fidelity's finance teams operate with a strong data culture, so comfort with dashboards and BI tools is valued alongside traditional Excel skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial reports and variance analyses for business unit leaders
• Maintain rolling forecast models and update assumptions with business partner input
• Analyze revenue trends, expense drivers, and headcount changes
• Build Tableau or Power BI dashboards to visualize financial KPIs
• Support annual plan submissions and quarterly business review decks
• Partner with accounting for month-end close data validation

Requirements & Skills

• Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills
• Exposure to data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) preferred
• Analytical thinking and ability to synthesize financial data into clear insights
• Comfortable presenting to finance managers and business leads
• Finance internship at an investment or asset management firm is a plus
