Role Context

Junior Accountants are placed within sub-ledger accounting, product control, or regulatory reporting teams. Your day-to-day involves supporting month-end close, investigating account variances, and assisting with SEC and Fed reporting submissions. You will work in teams of 8–15 and have a designated mentor for your first year.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily and monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
• Prepare journal entries for accruals, corrections, and intercompany transactions
• Support month-end close by meeting daily task deadlines in Workiva or SAP
• Investigate and resolve out-of-balance items with operations and treasury teams
• Assist in preparing schedules for external auditors and regulatory examiners
• Document procedures and improve reconciliation templates for efficiency

Requirements & Skills

• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance (2024–2025 grad)
• Understanding of debits, credits, and double-entry bookkeeping
• Excel proficiency; familiarity with SAP or Oracle is a plus
• Detail-oriented with ability to identify discrepancies in large datasets
• Dependable and able to meet tight close-calendar deadlines
• CPA track preferred; exam support provided
