Role Context

FP&A analysts at Meta are assigned to a specific business unit — such as Family of Apps, Reality Labs, or Infrastructure — and own the financial model for that area. You will run monthly close analysis, quarterly forecasts, and annual budget processes, and present findings to VP-level stakeholders. The role involves significant SQL work alongside Excel and Hyperion, as financial data at Meta is sourced from large internal data warehouses.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts and variance analyses
• Support the annual budgeting cycle by partnering with business owners to build bottom-up plans
• Develop and maintain financial models for headcount, capex, and operating expense planning
• Build and automate reporting dashboards for finance leadership and business partners
• Analyze actual vs. forecast variances and communicate key drivers clearly
• Support quarterly earnings preparation and investor relations data requests

Requirements & Skills

• 1–4 years of FP&A, corporate finance, or accounting experience
• Strong financial modeling skills in Excel; SQL proficiency required
• Understanding of income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow mechanics
• Experience with financial planning tools (Hyperion, Adaptive, or Anaplan is a plus)
• Exceptional attention to detail and comfort with large, complex data sets
• Clear written and verbal communication for presenting financial results to leadership
