Job Description

LocalHire Canada is searching for a skilled part-time Bookkeeper to support a growing small business portfolio in Vancouver. You will manage financial records, reconcile accounts, and prepare reports on a regular schedule.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Record daily financial transactions in accounting software
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly
  • Process accounts payable and receivable
  • Prepare GST/HST returns and payroll remittances
  • Generate monthly financial summaries for management review

What You Need:

  • Diploma or certificate in bookkeeping or accounting
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks or Sage is essential
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Organized, confidential, and deadline-driven
  • CPA designation is an asset but not required

Compensation:

  • $22–$28/hr based on experience
  • Flexible part-time hours — 15 to 25 hours per week
