NorthPack Canada is hiring Sortation Centre Associates to join our New Westminster, BC operations facility. This is a full-time onsite position requiring no prior experience, ideal for candidates in the New Westminster, Burnaby, and Coquitlam area looking for consistent warehouse work with competitive pay. At our New Westminster sortation centre, you will play a key role in sorting packages by delivery zone so that last-mile drivers can depart on time and customers receive their orders as quickly as possible.

Sortation Centre Associates work in a fast-moving, repetitive environment that requires strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain scan accuracy at pace. Our New Westminster facility operates evening and overnight shifts primarily aligned to nightly sort cycles that feed morning delivery departures across the Lower Mainland.

What Your First Week Looks Like:

You'll complete NorthPack Canada's paid sortation orientation covering induct scanning, chute sortation systems, package handling rules, and productivity targets at our New Westminster facility. By day two you'll be independently processing packages on the live sortation line.

Responsibilities:

• Induct inbound parcels onto the sortation conveyor by scanning barcodes and placing packages on the induction belt
• Monitor sortation chutes for jams, misroutes, and damage, resolving issues or escalating to shift supervisors quickly
• Stage sorted packages in designated delivery route lanes for driver loading before morning departure windows
• Process exception packages including unreadable labels, damaged parcels, and oversized items following standard procedures
• Assist with end-of-sort cleanup, chute clearing, and staging area organization before shift end
• Meet daily induct rate and sort accuracy targets set by NorthPack Canada New Westminster management
• Follow all sortation centre safety rules including conveyor safety, PPE requirements, and housekeeping standards

Requirements:

• No experience required — NorthPack Canada provides complete paid sortation training for all new associates
• Must be 18 years of age or older and legally eligible to work in Canada
• Able to lift parcels up to 49 lbs and remain active on the sortation floor for the full shift duration
• Able to work at a sustained pace while maintaining scan accuracy and sort quality standards
• Availability for evening and overnight sort shifts at our New Westminster BC facility is required
