About This Role

Fresher Hub is placing Ground Support Staff with an aviation ground handling company operating at Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi. The role covers passenger assistance, check-in counter support, baggage coordination, and airside ground operations depending on the assigned department. IGI is one of the busiest airports in Asia, and the ground operations team handles thousands of passengers across domestic and international terminals daily. Both freshers and candidates with prior aviation or hospitality experience are eligible to apply.

Role Context

You will be assigned to one of three departments — Passenger Services, Ramp Support, or Baggage Services — based on your profile and the requirement at the time of joining. Passenger Services handles check-in desks, boarding gates, and transit assistance. Baggage Services covers tagging, carousel coordination, and mishandled baggage reports. Ramp Support works airside and involves aircraft marshalling assistance and ground equipment coordination. All departments operate in rotating 8-hour shifts across day, afternoon, and night windows.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist passengers at check-in counters — seat assignments, baggage check, and boarding pass issuance
• Guide transit and connecting passengers to the correct terminal, gate, or lounge
• Support boarding gate operations — document checks, final counts, and priority boarding management
• Coordinate baggage tagging and ensure correct carousel assignments for arriving flights
• Handle mishandled baggage reports and update the baggage tracking system accurately
• Communicate with CISF and airline staff for security queue and airside access coordination
• Assist elderly, unaccompanied minor, and mobility-challenged passengers throughout their journey

Requirements & Skills

• Minimum 12th pass; graduation preferred for Passenger Services roles
• Good spoken English and Hindi — multilingual candidates have an advantage at IGI
• Presentable appearance and ability to stay composed in a high-footfall, time-sensitive environment
• Freshers welcome — complete ground handling training is provided before deployment
• Willing to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and public holidays
• Must be willing to obtain airport entry pass — background verification is mandatory

Benefits & Work Conditions

• ₹18,000 – ₹28,000 per month based on department and experience
