Job Description

WarehouseLink Canada is seeking detail-oriented Inventory Control Associates to join our Toronto fulfilment centre team. This is a full-time onsite position suited to individuals who enjoy accuracy-focused work, problem-solving, and contributing to the operational health of a busy fulfilment warehouse in Toronto. As an Inventory Control Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our Toronto warehouse inventory through cycle counting, discrepancy investigation, and bin location auditing activities every shift.

Inventory accuracy is the backbone of every successful fulfilment operation. As an Inventory Control Associate at our Toronto location, you will identify and resolve discrepancies that could otherwise cause missed picks, customer errors, and operational delays, making your role critical to the quality of our entire Toronto fulfilment output.

What Your First Week Looks Like:

You'll complete WarehouseLink Canada's paid inventory control orientation covering cycle count methodology, discrepancy investigation workflows, bin audit procedures, and warehouse management system navigation. By day three you'll be conducting live cycle counts and discrepancy investigations on the Toronto warehouse floor.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily and weekly cycle counts of assigned warehouse zones using RF scanners and recording results accurately
  • Investigate inventory count discrepancies by physically checking bin locations, reviewing transaction history, and resolving root causes
  • Perform bin location audits to verify product placement accuracy and identify misplaced or mislabelled inventory
  • Process inventory adjustments in the warehouse management system following WarehouseLink Canada approval procedures
  • Support inventory-related problem resolution for the picking team including bin not found, wrong item, and quantity discrepancy issues
  • Prepare daily cycle count completion reports and discrepancy summaries for the Inventory Control Manager
  • Assist with quarterly and annual full physical inventory counts requiring extended shift participation

Requirements:

  • Minimum six months of warehouse or inventory experience is preferred; motivated candidates without experience will be considered
  • Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail are essential for inventory control work
  • Must be 18 years of age or older and eligible to work in Canada
  • Comfortable using RF scanners and basic warehouse management system data entry functions
  • Available for day and evening shifts at our Toronto fulfilment centre with occasional weekend requirements
