SwiftShip Canada is hiring Order Pickers to join our Ottawa fulfilment centre team. This is a full-time onsite position ideal for candidates looking for consistent, well-paying warehouse work in Ottawa with no experience required. As an Order Picker at SwiftShip Canada, you will play a direct role in getting customer orders fulfilled accurately and on time at our high-volume Ottawa fulfilment facility.

Working as an Order Picker at our Ottawa location, you will use a handheld scanner to navigate the warehouse floor, locate products in assigned bin locations, pick the correct items in the correct quantities, and prepare orders for the packing team within productivity target windows each shift.

What Your First Week Looks Like:

You'll spend your first two days in SwiftShip Canada's paid orientation covering scanner operation, bin location navigation, pick-rate targets, and ergonomic lifting practices. By day three you'll be picking live orders on the Ottawa warehouse floor with a team lead available for guidance during your ramp-up period.

Responsibilities:

• Use RF scanner to receive pick assignments and navigate warehouse aisles to correct bin locations
• Pick the correct products in correct quantities per each customer order assignment
• Handle products carefully to prevent damage during the pick process and report any quality concerns
• Transfer picked items to packing stations or consolidation areas efficiently within target time windows
• Perform zone replenishment tasks to maintain product availability in assigned picking zones
• Meet daily pick rate productivity targets while maintaining order accuracy above required thresholds
• Follow all safety rules including proper lifting technique and PPE requirements throughout each shift

Requirements:

• No experience necessary — SwiftShip Canada provides complete paid training for all new Order Pickers
• Must be 18 years of age or older and eligible to work in Canada
• Physical ability to lift up to 49 lbs and walk 8 to 15 km per shift in a warehouse environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow scanner-directed instructions accurately at pace
• Available for day, evening, or night shift schedules including weekends at our Ottawa facility
