About This Role
Progressive Consultancy is offering IT Recruiter Internship positions for female candidates on a work-from-home basis. This internship is a structured entry point into the IT recruitment domain — you will learn to read tech job descriptions, source IT profiles on LinkedIn and Naukri, screen candidates, and coordinate interviews under the mentorship of senior IT recruiters. If you are a female fresher or early-career professional interested in building a career in technology recruitment, this is where you start.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand IT job descriptions and identify the key technical skills, experience levels, and qualifications required for each role
- Source IT candidate profiles using Naukri, LinkedIn, and Boolean search strings under senior recruiter guidance
- Review and shortlist resumes based on technical fitment, years of experience, and location/notice period criteria
- Conduct initial telephonic screening calls with shortlisted candidates to verify interest, availability, and communication skills
- Schedule technical and HR interviews between candidates and client hiring managers
- Maintain recruitment trackers and update candidate status in the ATS after every interaction
- Follow up with candidates during the offer and pre-joining phase to ensure smooth onboarding
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed BBA, MBA (HR), B.Tech, or any degree with interest in IT recruitment as a career
- Basic understanding of IT roles (developer, QA, DevOps, data analyst, etc.) is a strong advantage
- Good English communication skills for professional candidate and client interaction
- Comfortable with LinkedIn, Naukri, and basic internet research for candidate sourcing
- A laptop and reliable internet connection are mandatory
- Self-motivated, organised, and eager to learn in a fast-paced IT recruitment environment
