About This Role
Progressive Consultancy is hiring an experienced Female Senior IT Recruiter for a permanent work-from-home RPO (Recruitment Process Outsourcing) or Independent Contractor (IC) engagement. You will manage end-to-end IT recruitment for domestic clients across software, product, and IT services companies, independently handling senior and niche technology mandates. This is a high-earning role for experienced female IT recruiters with 5+ years of strong delivery track records who want the freedom of working from home on a flexible engagement model.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end IT recruitment for assigned client mandates — from JD analysis and sourcing strategy through offer rollout and joining confirmation
- Source senior and niche IT profiles (5–15 years experience) through Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, and passive candidate networking
- Conduct structured competency-based screening interviews to assess technical fitment, communication quality, and cultural alignment
- Manage client stakeholder relationships — lead intake calls, provide weekly pipeline updates, and manage expectations on TAT and market availability
- Negotiate compensation packages, manage counteroffers, and ensure successful candidate joining with minimal fallouts
- Build a strong referral network within the IT domain to maintain a warm pipeline for recurring requirements
- Mentor junior recruiters on IT sourcing techniques, JD interpretation, and client management best practices
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on IT recruitment experience in domestic (India) hiring — RPO, staffing agency, or in-house
- Proven track record of closing senior-level technology mandates across software development, data, cloud, and infrastructure domains
- Expert-level proficiency in Naukri, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Boolean search techniques
- Strong understanding of IT skills landscape — must be able to assess profiles in Java, Python, cloud, DevOps, data engineering, and related areas
- Excellent client communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple mandates simultaneously, and deliver results without micromanagement
