About This Role
DataPoint India is hiring Evening Part Time Computer Operators for data processing and office computing support at our Chennai centre. You will perform data entry, document formatting, report generation, and computer operations during evening shifts, supporting the daytime team's workflow continuation. This is a stable part-time role for students and working individuals comfortable with computers and basic software applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate computers, printers, and office equipment for data entry, document processing, and report generation tasks
- Enter data from source documents and client files into databases, spreadsheets, and enterprise applications
- Format and proofread official documents, letters, notices, and reports for management or client submission
- Generate standard reports from internal systems including attendance, sales, inventory, or financial summaries
- Handle scanning, file conversion, and document management tasks during the evening shift
- Maintain daily operational logs and submit shift completion reports to the evening supervisor
- Assist with basic troubleshooting of printers and office peripherals during the shift
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 12th pass or any graduate; DCA or PGDCA certification is preferred
- Typing speed of 35+ WPM with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and basic internet tools
- Comfortable operating computer peripherals including printers, scanners, and UPS systems
- Basic troubleshooting skills for common computer and peripheral issues
- Punctual and reliable for the fixed evening shift schedule
What We Offer
- Part-time salary of ₹8,000–₹13,000 per month for the evening shift (5 PM – 9 PM)
