About This Role

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is seeking Customer Relations Assistants (CRA) to manage passenger services, grievance handling, and public information duties at Delhi Metro stations. This is an entry-level role suitable for graduates and 12th pass candidates who wish to build a career in public transport operations and customer service within a prestigious government organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide route guidance, fare information, and platform directions to passengers at station concourse and platform areas
  • Handle passenger complaints, lost-and-found items, and accessibility assistance requests at the station customer service desk
  • Make public announcements over the station PA system for service updates, emergencies, and general information
  • Support crowd management at entry gates, lifts, and escalators during peak hours and special events
  • Record and report passenger feedback, grievances, and maintenance observations in the station log system
  • Coordinate with security personnel, station controllers, and operations staff for smooth station functioning
  • Assist elderly, disabled, and specially-abled passengers with boarding, alighting, and navigating station facilities

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university
  • Fluency in Hindi and working knowledge of English for effective communication with diverse passengers
  • Good interpersonal skills, calm temperament, and a genuine service orientation
  • Physical fitness and ability to work in rotational shifts including early morning, afternoon, and night shifts
  • Clear vision (with or without correction) and no colour blindness as per DMRC medical standards
