About This Role
FinServe India is looking for a meticulous and service-oriented Branch Operations Executive to manage day-to-day banking operations at our Hyderabad branch. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth transaction processing, compliance with operational procedures, and delivering a consistent and professional experience to walk-in customers and account holders.
Key Responsibilities
- Process cash transactions, cheque deposits, NEFT/RTGS transfers, and account maintenance requests accurately and efficiently
- Verify customer identity and documentation during account opening, KYC update, and service request processing
- Balance the branch till at the start and end of each working day and reconcile transaction records
- Handle customer queries at the branch counter and resolve transaction-related issues or escalate to the branch manager
- Ensure all branch operations comply with RBI guidelines, AML policies, and internal audit requirements
- Maintain branch registers, vouchers, and archival documents as per records management policy
- Support branch audits and regulatory inspections by preparing required documentation in advance
- Coordinate with back-office, IT support, and head office for system issues, escalations, and process updates
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Business Administration
- 1–2 years of banking operations experience is preferred; freshers from commerce backgrounds will be considered
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail in cash handling and documentation
- Knowledge of core banking systems (Finacle, Flexcube, or similar) is advantageous
- Good customer service orientation and ability to handle a busy branch environment
- Fluency in English and Telugu for effective communication with local customers
