About This Role
QuickEntry India is seeking an efficient and detail-focused Data Entry Executive to support data processing operations for our Chennai client accounts. You will work on structured data migration, catalogue entry, and records digitisation projects, delivering high-quality outputs that meet client accuracy and format specifications consistently.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter and validate data from client-supplied hard copies, spreadsheets, and scanned files into internal systems and client portals
- Perform data cleansing tasks including removal of duplicates, correction of formatting errors, and standardisation of field entries
- Manage product catalogue updates, pricing entries, and inventory records for e-commerce and retail clients
- Complete data migration tasks when clients transition between systems or databases
- Generate formatted output files in Excel, CSV, or XML as specified in client project briefs
- Track personal productivity metrics and submit weekly completion reports to the team lead
- Escalate unresolvable data conflicts or ambiguous source documents to senior executives for review
- Adhere strictly to project confidentiality agreements and company data security protocols
Required Skills and Qualifications
- HSC or Bachelor's degree in any stream
- Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM; bilingual (English + Tamil) typing is a bonus
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel including data sorting, filtering, and basic formula usage
- Familiarity with e-commerce back-end platforms or content management tools is preferred
- Proven ability to self-manage workload and consistently meet daily and weekly output targets
- Prior experience in data entry, catalogue management, or back-office operations is an advantage
