About This Role
DataPoint India is expanding its Hyderabad operations and seeks motivated Data Entry Operators to join our growing back-office team. This role is ideal for candidates who are organised, fast, and meticulous about data quality. You will support multiple ongoing data processing projects for clients in healthcare, logistics, and financial services.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-volume data entry of patient records, shipping manifests, financial transactions, or customer information into designated databases
- Review entered records for completeness and accuracy before submitting batches for client delivery
- Respond to data correction requests from quality assurance reviewers and update records promptly
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports detailing records processed and accuracy metrics
- Follow client-specific data templates, naming conventions, and entry standards rigorously
- Participate in team briefings, process training, and quality improvement workshops
- Communicate proactively with supervisors when workload, deadlines, or data quality issues arise
- Ensure compliance with data security policies and sign non-disclosure agreements for sensitive projects
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 10th pass or above; a graduate degree is preferred but not mandatory
- Typing speed of 35 WPM or higher with a minimum 93% accuracy rate
- Working knowledge of MS Office suite, especially Excel and Word
- Familiarity with document scanning, OCR tools, or data capture software is advantageous
- Ability to work in shifts and handle peak-period data volumes with calmness and efficiency
- Good communication skills in English and Telugu for internal coordination
