About This Role

PeopleFirst India is hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist for its Pune HR team to drive end-to-end hiring for corporate and operational roles across the company's three Pune business units. The role covers the full recruitment lifecycle — sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, managing candidate experience, and facilitating offer closure. It is a dedicated TA role with no generalist HR responsibilities, suited to recruiters who want to focus entirely on hiring quality and speed within a stable, structured company environment.

Role Context

You will report to the HR Manager and manage a hiring volume of 8–15 open positions simultaneously across roles ranging from entry-level operations to mid-manager hires. The company uses Naukri and LinkedIn for sourcing alongside internal referrals. Interview coordination is managed centrally by your role, and you will liaise with five to eight hiring managers across business units. Candidate experience is tracked through offer acceptance rates and post-join feedback, and these metrics inform how your performance is evaluated.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for 8–15 simultaneous open positions across business units in Pune
  • Source candidates through Naukri, LinkedIn, employee referrals, and campus drives for entry-level roles
  • Screen candidate profiles for skills, salary alignment, notice period, and culture fit before submission
  • Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring managers across multiple departments
  • Conduct structured HR screening interviews and prepare candidate assessment summaries for hiring managers
  • Manage offer extension, negotiation, and acceptance follow-up to achieve target offer acceptance rates
  • Maintain accurate ATS data for all active requisitions with stage-by-stage candidate status tracking
  • Plan and execute quarterly campus hiring drives for entry-level and trainee positions in Pune

Requirements & Skills

  • 2–4 years of talent acquisition experience covering both technical and non-technical role hiring
  • Hands-on sourcing experience using Naukri and LinkedIn Recruiter for active position management
  • Strong candidate communication skills — responsive, clear, and reliable throughout the hiring process
  • Experience managing 10+ simultaneous open requisitions with consistent quality and follow-through
  • Proficiency with ATS platforms and Excel for requisition tracking, pipeline reporting, and offer data management
  • Comfortable managing hiring manager relationships across business units with different role complexity levels
  • Understanding of compensation benchmarking and offer band management within approved salary frameworks
