About This Role

Amazon is hiring fresh graduates across India for its Work From Home Chat Support program. This is a full-time remote role where you will handle customer queries exclusively via live chat — no phone calls. Amazon provides all equipment, 15 days of fully paid training, and a 30-day buddy program for new graduates joining the team. Role Context

Amazon's chat support team handles inbound queries from India's growing base of online shoppers. Common query types include order tracking, payment failures, return requests, and Prime subscription questions. Fresh graduates are appreciated in this role for their enthusiasm and adaptability — Amazon's internal tools are proprietary and easier to learn without prior bad habits from other platforms. You manage 2–3 simultaneous chat conversations during peak hours and are supported by a team lead who is available on the shared queue throughout your shift.

Key Responsibilities

Handle simultaneous live chat conversations and resolve customer queries in the first interaction where possible
Process order cancellations, refunds, returns, and account-level changes as per Amazon policy
Maintain professional, accurate, and empathetic written communication
Escalate cases involving fraud, account compromise, or policy exceptions to the specialist team
Meet daily CSAT and first-contact resolution targets
Complete all assigned training modules and certifications within deadlines

Requirements

Any graduation — 2023, 2024, or 2025 pass-out; freshers welcome
Good written English — grammar and clarity are tested during selection
Typing speed: 32 WPM or above
Personal laptop or desktop — Windows 10 or above
Wired broadband: 20 Mbps minimum
