Equity Research Associate – Global Research (Fresher)

About This Role

Bank of America (BofA Securities) India is hiring fresher Equity Research Associates for its BofA Global Research division. BofA Global Research is consistently voted among the world's top 3 equity research franchises. India-based associates support BofA's global research teams — building financial models for US, European, and Asian companies, writing research reports, and conducting data analysis for BofA's 5,000+ institutional investor client base worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models for global listed companies covering BofA's assigned sector research coverage areas
• Assist senior research analysts in writing earnings notes, sector reports, and strategy publications for institutional clients
• Produce quantitative screens and thematic data analysis using Bloomberg, FactSet, and BofA's proprietary research databases
• Conduct earnings estimate revisions following quarterly results, guidance updates, and management commentary
• Support BofA's India-specific equity research: NSE/BSE listed company coverage and India strategy publications
• Prepare client-specific research deliverables: custom screens, portfolio analysis, and investor presentation materials

Requirements & Skills

• MBA (Finance/Economics) or CFA Level I cleared from a recognised institution (2025/2026 batch)
• Strong financial modelling skills (DCF, comparable analysis, EPS accretion) and equity valuation
• Bloomberg and Excel proficiency; Python skills for quantitative research are a strong plus
• Good written English for research report writing and institutional client communication
• Genuine passion for global equity markets and financial analysis
