About This Role
Charles Schwab India is hiring fresher Investment Operations Analysts for its India Service Delivery Centre. Schwab is America's largest online retail brokerage with $9 trillion+ in client assets and 35 million+ brokerage accounts. India-based analysts support Schwab's US retail brokerage operations — processing equity trades, managing client accounts, and ensuring regulatory compliance for millions of American retail investors.
Key Responsibilities
- Process US equity, ETF, and options trade orders for Schwab's retail brokerage clients: market orders, limit orders, stop orders, and GTC orders
- Handle brokerage account operations: account opening, IRA contributions, beneficiary changes, and transfer of assets (ACATS)
- Process corporate actions for US listed securities: cash dividends, stock dividends, tender offers, and spin-offs
- Support margin account management: margin call calculation, Reg T margin compliance, and house call notifications
- Prepare regulatory reports for FINRA (Focus Reports) and SEC (EDGAR filings) on behalf of Schwab US entities
- Resolve client brokerage account queries and trade discrepancies via Schwab's internal case management system
Requirements & Skills
- B.Com (Finance/Accounting), BBA, or MBA (Finance) from a recognised institution (2025/2026 batch)
- Understanding of US equity markets: NYSE/NASDAQ, brokerage account types, and retail investing products
- Excel proficiency; SQL or Python is a plus for operational analytics
- High attention to detail for financial processing in regulated US brokerage environment
- NISM certifications or US FINRA Series 7/63 knowledge is advantageous
