About This Role

Mirae Asset India is hiring fresher Equity Research Analysts for its India investment team. Mirae Asset is Asia's largest asset manager (ex-Japan), managing $630 billion+ globally. Mirae Asset India has emerged as one of India's most successful mutual funds — the Mirae Asset Large Cap Fund and Mirae Asset Emerging Bluechip Fund are among India's top-performing equity funds. You will research Indian stocks for Mirae Asset India's ₹1.4 lakh crore AUM equity portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct bottom-up fundamental equity research on Indian mid-cap and large-cap listed companies
Build three-statement financial models with 5-year earnings projections and DCF/relative valuation
Attend company management meetings, factory visits, and industry conferences for primary research
Track quarterly results of 30–40 assigned companies: earnings quality analysis and estimate revision
Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics for assigned sectors
Prepare stock pitch presentations for Mirae Asset India's Investment Committee approval

Requirements & Skills

MBA (Finance) from a premier institution or CFA Level I cleared (2025/2026 batch)
Strong fundamental equity research skills and financial modelling
Passion for long-term equity investing in Indian markets
Good analytical and written communication skills for investment thesis documentation
Bloomberg Terminal familiarity; CFA is strongly encouraged
