Financial Data Analyst – Equity Research (Fresher)

About This Role

FactSet India is hiring fresher Financial Data Analysts for its Content & Technology Solutions division. FactSet is one of the world's leading financial data platforms, used by 7,000+ investment banks, asset managers, and hedge funds. India-based analysts build the equity research data, financial estimates, and company fundamental data that power FactSet's platform — consumed by top global institutional investors to make trillion-dollar investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Extract, validate, and standardise financial data from company annual reports, quarterly filings, and SEC/BSE/NSE disclosures
• Model consensus financial estimates: EPS, revenue, EBITDA, and segment forecasts for global listed companies
• Collect and validate broker research data: analyst price targets, recommendations, and earnings estimates for FactSet's estimates database
• Build and maintain ownership data: institutional shareholding changes from 13F filings (US) and BSE shareholding data (India)
• Produce M&A transaction data: deal multiples, acquisition premiums, and transaction timeline for FactSet's M&A database
• Conduct quality reviews of financial data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency

Requirements & Skills

• B.Com (Finance/Accounting), BBA, or MBA (Finance) from a recognised institution (2025/2026 batch)
• Strong financial accounting knowledge: P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statement reading
• Excel proficiency for financial data processing; SQL knowledge is a plus
• Attention to detail and data accuracy mindset for financial data validation
• CFA Level I pursuit or NISM certifications are advantageous
