About This Role

UBS Securities India is hiring fresher Equity Analysts for its India Research and Global Markets teams. UBS Research is voted #1 in numerous Asiamoney and Institutional Investor polls. UBS Securities India is a SEBI-registered stock broker serving FII institutional clients with India equity research and execution. You will build models for India's largest companies and contribute to research publications read by global asset managers.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain detailed financial models for Indian listed companies: earnings forecasts, DCF valuation, and price target models
Support senior UBS India research analysts in writing sector reports, earnings notes, and thematic research publications
Analyse India macroeconomic data: GDP, IIP, CPI, RBI monetary policy, and FII/DII equity flow trends
Produce daily India equity market commentary for UBS's global institutional client base
Support equity sales with stock ideas, sector comparisons, and investment thesis materials
Use Bloomberg, FactSet, and Refinitiv for company financial data, peer analysis, and global sector benchmarking

Requirements & Skills

MBA (Finance) or CFA Level I from a premier institution (2025/2026 batch)
Strong financial modelling skills; Bloomberg proficiency preferred
Good understanding of Indian listed equities, sectoral dynamics, and SEBI regulations
Strong written English for research report and market commentary writing
NISM Research Analyst (Series XV) or SEBI RA certification is a strong advantage
