About This Role
JPMorgan Chase India is hiring fresher Securities Operations Analysts for its Equities Operations team. You will support JPMorgan's global equities franchise — managing trade settlement, position reconciliation, and securities lending for billions of dollars in daily equity transactions across Indian (NSE, BSE) and global exchanges. JPMorgan is consistently the #1 equity underwriter globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Process equity trade settlements across NSE, BSE, and global exchanges: T+1 India equity, T+2 US/EU settlement cycles
- Reconcile daily trading positions between JPMorgan's front-office OMS, middle-office risk systems, and custodian/broker records
- Handle securities lending operations: stock borrow/loan agreements, collateral management, and fee calculations
- Process equity corporate actions: ex-date tracking, entitlement calculation, and election processing for dividends, rights, and splits
- Investigate failed trades, short positions, and settlement breaks; coordinate resolution with NSE/BSE clearing corporations
- Prepare daily position and P&L reports for JPMorgan's equities trading desks
Requirements & Skills
- B.Com (Finance/Accounting), BBA, or MBA (Finance) from a recognised institution (2025/2026 batch)
- Understanding of equity markets: NSE/BSE trading mechanics, settlement cycles, and SEBI regulations
- Excel proficiency for trade data processing and reconciliation
- High attention to detail and accuracy for securities processing
- NISM Series VII (Securities Operations) certification is advantageous
