About This Role

BNY Mellon India is hiring fresher Investment Services Analysts for its Custody, Fund Administration, and Corporate Trust operations in Pune and Chennai. BNY Mellon is the world's largest custodian bank, with $48 trillion in assets under custody. India-based analysts support BNY Mellon's global clients — pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, and asset managers — with trade settlement, NAV calculation, and fund accounting services.

Key Responsibilities

Process global custodian trade settlements across equity, fixed income, and derivatives markets
Perform daily NAV calculation for mutual funds, hedge funds, and pension fund mandates
Reconcile fund asset positions with sub-custodians, prime brokers, and transfer agents globally
Process corporate actions: cash dividends, stock dividends, rights issues, and tender offers for custody clients
Calculate fund fees: management fees, custodian fees, TER, and performance fee watermarks
Prepare financial statements, monthly reporting packages, and regulatory filings for fund clients

Requirements & Skills

B.Com (Finance/Accounting), BBA, or MBA (Finance) from a recognised institution (2025/2026 batch)
Strong accounting fundamentals: double-entry bookkeeping, financial statements, and income recognition
Understanding of financial instruments: equities, bonds, derivatives, and funds
Excel proficiency; attention to detail for NAV and custody operations
Good communication for international client and counterpart coordination
