About This Role
Royal Bank of Canada India (RBC Centre of Excellence) is hiring Graduate Capital Markets Analysts. RBC is Canada's largest bank and a leading global capital markets player. India-based analysts at RBC India support RBC's global capital markets, investment banking, and wealth management divisions — performing financial modelling, quantitative analysis, and operations support for equity, fixed income, and derivatives businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Support equity and fixed income capital markets transactions: IPO analysis, bond pricing, and syndicated deal modelling
- Build financial models for M&A advisory: valuation analyses, synergy models, and capital structure optimisation
- Perform quantitative analysis: Monte Carlo simulations, option pricing (Black-Scholes/binomial tree), and interest rate modelling
- Conduct market risk analysis: sensitivity analysis (DV01, PV01, delta/vega for options), VaR, and stress testing
- Prepare regulatory capital reports for OSFI (Canada's regulator) including Basel III CET1 and leverage ratio submissions
- Process trade operations for Canadian capital markets: settlement, clearing, and position management
Requirements & Skills
- MBA (Finance) / M.Sc (Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Quantitative Finance) or B.Tech with exceptional finance skills (2025/2026 batch)
- Strong quantitative skills: calculus, probability, statistics, and financial mathematics
- Financial modelling proficiency in Excel; Python skills for quantitative analysis are a plus
- Understanding of capital markets: equity, fixed income, derivatives, and structured products
- CFA Level I or FRM Level I cleared is strongly preferred
