Credit Analyst – Corporate Banking (Fresher)

About This Role

MUFG Bank India (Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group) is hiring fresher Credit Analysts for its Corporate Banking team. MUFG is the world's fifth-largest bank by assets and the largest Japanese bank. MUFG India provides corporate loans, project finance, trade finance, and capital markets solutions to Indian corporates, government entities, and Japanese MNCs operating in India.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct credit analysis of Indian and multinational corporates: financial statement spreading, cash flow analysis, and credit risk rating
• Prepare credit approval papers for corporate term loans, working capital facilities, ECB, and project finance
• Process trade finance transactions: Letter of Credit, Bank Guarantee, Export/Import collections for corporate clients
• Support Japanese MNC clients in India with current accounts, forex hedging, and supply chain finance
• Monitor existing loan portfolio: covenant compliance, facility utilisation, and annual review preparation
• Prepare RBI regulatory filings: ECB master direction reports, FLA returns, and FEMA transaction reports

Requirements & Skills

• MBA (Finance) or CA from a recognised institution (2025/2026 batch)
• Strong credit analysis and financial modelling skills
• Understanding of corporate banking products, trade finance, and RBI/FEMA regulations
• Japanese language proficiency (JLPT) is advantageous for Japanese corporate client coverage
• Good attention to detail and accuracy for credit documentation
