About This Role

ANZ India is hiring fresher Banking Operations Analysts for its Bengaluru shared services centre (ANZ Bengaluru). ANZ is one of Australia and New Zealand's largest banks. India-based analysts support ANZ's transaction banking, trade finance, and lending operations — processing payments, trade documents, and loan facilities for ANZ's corporate and institutional clients across Australia, New Zealand, and APAC.

Key Responsibilities

Process international payments: SWIFT (MT103, MT202), domestic payments (RTGS, NEFT equivalents), and foreign exchange settlements
Handle trade finance processing: Letter of Credit issuance, negotiation, and Bank Guarantee administration
Perform loan operations: drawdowns, repayments, interest rollovers, and fee processing for corporate lending facilities
Conduct AML and sanctions screening on transactions and client names
Reconcile nostro accounts and investigate payment exceptions and breaks
Prepare daily and monthly MIS reports for transaction banking and trade operations management

Requirements & Skills

B.Com (Finance/Accounting) or BBA from a recognised university (2025/2026 batch)
Basic understanding of international banking: SWIFT payments, trade finance, and corporate lending
Good attention to detail and accuracy for financial transaction processing
Excel proficiency for data processing and reconciliation
Good communication skills for global cross-functional coordination
