About This Role

Société Générale India (SG Global Solution Centre) is hiring fresher Derivatives Operations Analysts at its Bengaluru and Mumbai centres. SG is a leading European investment bank known for structured products and derivatives expertise. India-based analysts provide trade support, confirmation, and settlement services for SG's global equity derivatives, FX derivatives, and interest rate swap trading books.

Key Responsibilities

Process and confirm OTC derivatives transactions: equity swaps, FX forwards/options, credit default swaps (CDS), and interest rate swaps
Reconcile derivative positions between front-office systems, ISDA confirmation platforms (MarkitWire/DTCC), and counterparties
Compute derivative valuations: mark-to-market (MtM) and fair value for daily P&L and risk reporting
Handle lifecycle events: coupon payments, resets, exercise/expiry for options, and early termination processing
Perform collateral management: margin calls, variation margin calculation, and ISDA/CSA agreement monitoring
Prepare EMIR and Dodd-Frank trade reporting for OTC derivatives regulatory submissions

Requirements & Skills

MBA (Finance) or B.Com/B.Sc (Mathematics, Economics) from a recognised institution (2025/2026 batch)
Basic understanding of derivatives: swaps, options, forwards, and futures
Excel proficiency; SQL knowledge is a plus for data extraction and reconciliation
Good analytical skills and attention to detail for derivatives processing
CFA Level I or FRM Level I cleared is advantageous
