Investment Operations Analyst (Fresher)

About This Role

Fidelity Investments India is hiring fresher Investment Operations Analysts for its India operations centre (FSIL). Fidelity manages $12 trillion+ in assets and serves 40 million+ individual investors and thousands of institutional clients. India-based analysts support Fidelity's mutual fund operations, brokerage services, and retirement plan administration — directly impacting millions of American retirement savers.

Key Responsibilities

• Process mutual fund and ETF trade orders: purchases, redemptions, exchanges, and systematic investment plans (SIP)
• Perform portfolio reconciliation between Fidelity's order management system, fund accounting, and custodian records
• Calculate and validate daily mutual fund NAV, expense ratio accruals, and income distribution
• Process retirement account transactions: 401(k) contributions, distributions, rollovers, and required minimum distributions (RMD)
• Support equity and fixed income settlement: T+2 equity settlement, bond accrued interest, and fail management
• Prepare regulatory reports for the SEC (Form N-CEN, N-PORT) and FINRA compliance filings

Requirements & Skills

• B.Com (Finance/Accounting), BBA, or MBA (Finance) from a recognised institution (2025/2026 batch)
• Good accounting knowledge and understanding of mutual fund operations
• Excel proficiency; SQL or Python knowledge is a plus
• High accuracy and ability to meet strict financial processing deadlines
• Interest in US capital markets and mutual fund industry
