About This Role
BlackRock India is hiring fresher Financial Analysts for its Global Market Intelligence and Investment Management teams. BlackRock manages $10 trillion+ in assets — more than any other firm on earth. India-based analysts support BlackRock's portfolio management, risk analytics, and client reporting teams globally using Aladdin — the world's most powerful investment management platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform investment analysis: equity research, fixed income analysis, and multi-asset portfolio attribution
- Build portfolio performance reports and risk analytics using BlackRock's Aladdin platform
- Conduct quantitative analysis: factor models, risk attribution, tracking error, and information ratio calculations
- Support ESG integration: assess environmental, social, and governance (ESG) scores for portfolio companies
- Prepare client investment proposals, quarterly performance reports, and RFP responses
- Monitor portfolio compliance with mandate guidelines and generate breach alerts using Aladdin Risk
Requirements & Skills
- MBA (Finance) / CFA Level I cleared / M.Sc (Finance) from a recognised institution (2025/2026 batch)
- Strong understanding of equity, fixed income, and multi-asset portfolio management
- Quantitative skills: statistics, portfolio theory (CAPM, factor models), and risk metrics (Sharpe ratio, VaR)
- Excel and Python/SQL skills for investment data analysis
- High analytical rigour and passion for global financial markets
