Commercial Banking Analyst (Entry Level)

About This Role

Wells Fargo India is hiring entry-level Commercial Banking Analysts at its Global Delivery Centres in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Chennai. You will support Wells Fargo's US Commercial Banking, Investment Banking, and Risk Management operations from India — performing credit analysis, loan processing, financial modelling, and regulatory reporting for one of America's largest banks.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform credit underwriting support: financial spreading, credit risk analysis, and credit memo preparation for US commercial clients
• Process commercial loan documentation: covenant tracking, collateral review, and credit facility reviews
• Conduct financial statement analysis for middle-market and large corporate borrowers
• Support loan operations: loan booking, interest accrual, fee billing, and loan disbursement processing
• Prepare regulatory filings (FR Y-9C, Call Report, CCAR stress testing) for Wells Fargo's US regulatory submissions
• Build financial models and scenario analyses for credit portfolio stress testing

Requirements & Skills

• MBA (Finance) or B.Com/BBA with strong accounting and finance knowledge (2025/2026 batch)
• Strong financial analysis and credit assessment skills
• Excel proficiency for financial modelling and data analysis
• Understanding of US banking regulations (Dodd-Frank, OCC guidelines) is advantageous
• Good attention to detail for loan documentation and credit processing
