About This Role

Barclays India is hiring Graduate Banking Analysts for its Finance, Risk, and Compliance functions at its Pune Global Capability Centre. Barclays India runs critical financial control, regulatory reporting, and risk management operations for Barclays' UK Retail, Business Banking, and Investment Banking businesses — processing millions of transactions daily for 48 million+ global customers.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review monthly financial accounts, management accounts, and regulatory returns (PRA, FCA) for Barclays entities
Perform balance sheet reconciliation, general ledger substantiation, and inter-company eliminations
Support credit risk reporting: calculate expected credit loss (ECL/IFRS 9), provision movements, and impairment charge
Conduct liquidity risk analysis and prepare LCR (Liquidity Coverage Ratio) and NSFR reports for the ALCO
Prepare capital adequacy (CET1) calculations and regulatory capital reports for PRA submission
Build and automate financial reporting using Excel, Python, and Tableau dashboards

Requirements & Skills

MBA (Finance), CA (Inter/Final), CFA Level I, or B.Com/B.Sc (Economics) from a recognised institution (2025/2026 batch)
Strong financial accounting knowledge; IFRS/Ind AS awareness is a plus
Excel proficiency; Python or SQL skills are advantageous for automation
Understanding of banking products: loans, deposits, mortgages, and financial instruments
Good analytical and communication skills for regulatory and management reporting
