About This Role
Morgan Stanley India is hiring Graduate Banking Operations Analysts for its Mumbai and Bengaluru operations centres. You will support Morgan Stanley's global Investment Banking, Equity, Fixed Income, and Wealth Management businesses — ensuring accurate trade processing, client reporting, and regulatory compliance for one of the world's most prestigious investment banks.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and confirm equity, fixed income, and derivatives trades in Morgan Stanley's back-office systems
- Perform daily reconciliation of trading positions between front-office, middle-office, and custodian records
- Support client account opening, KYC documentation review, and AML compliance verification
- Generate and validate daily P&L reports, NAV calculations, and portfolio analytics for institutional clients
- Handle trade settlement exceptions, failed trades, and corporate action processing (dividends, splits, mergers)
- Prepare regulatory reports for RBI, SEBI, and global regulators (SEC, FCA, MAS) as required
Requirements & Skills
- MBA (Finance) or B.Com/B.Sc (Economics, Mathematics, Statistics) from a recognised institution (2025/2026 batch)
- Basic understanding of financial instruments: equity, bonds, derivatives, and FX
- Strong Excel proficiency; SQL or Python knowledge is advantageous
- High accuracy and attention to detail for financial transaction processing
- Good communication skills for cross-functional and global team collaboration
