About This Role

SwiftType India is hiring Part-Time Typing Operators specifically for students who want to earn from home without compromising their studies. This fully remote, part-time role involves typing data from source documents into an online system — no customer interaction, no voice calls, no fixed shift timings. If you have 2–3 free hours per day and can type in English, you can apply regardless of your current college or course. Role Context

SwiftType handles document digitization projects for publishing, legal, and logistics clients in India. Student operators are assigned smaller daily batches (150–250 records) that can be completed in 2–3 hours at any time between 8 AM and 10 PM. Exam seasons are accommodated — you can pause batches for up to 7 days by notifying your project coordinator in advance. Payment is released weekly every Friday via UPI or bank transfer.

Key Responsibilities

• Type data from assigned source files (PDFs, scanned images) into the web portal form
• Self-verify entries for spelling and format accuracy before submission
• Submit the daily batch through the portal by 10 PM
• Inform your project coordinator if you need to pause for exams at least 2 days in advance

Requirements

• Currently enrolled student (any college, any year) or recent graduate
• Typing speed: 25 WPM minimum in English
• Laptop or desktop — Windows or Mac (smartphones not compatible)
• Internet: 5 Mbps or above
• 2–3 free hours daily on at least 20 days per month
• Bank account or UPI ID for payment

Pay

• Pay: ₹6,000 – ₹10,000 per month for 2–3 hours daily, 20–25 days
• Weekly payment every Friday
• Accuracy bonus: ₹500 additional for maintaining 98%+ accuracy in a month
• Batch size can be increased to earn more once your accuracy is verified
