Financial Management Program – Accountant – GE (General Electric)

GE's Financial Management Program (FMP) is one of the most prestigious early-career accounting and finance rotational programs in America — producing many of the CFOs and Finance leaders at GE and its spinoffs. We are hiring FMP Accountants for our next cohort at our Boston, MA headquarters.
Responsibilities
- Complete three 8-month rotations across financial accounting, commercial finance, plant/operations finance, and business financial planning & analysis
- Prepare financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses for assigned GE business unit rotation
- Support month-end close, account reconciliations, and quarterly forecasting activities during each rotation
- Contribute to financial due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures during M&A rotation opportunities
- Develop financial models and capital allocation analyses supporting investment decisions
- Network extensively within GE Finance and build relationships with senior finance leaders who mentor FMP participants
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with outstanding academic achievement (3.5+ GPA)
- CPA candidate strongly preferred (GE provides exam support)
- Demonstrated leadership through campus activities, internships, or work experience
- Willingness to relocate across GE locations during program rotations (relocation assistance provided)
- Strong analytical skills and intellectual curiosity about industrial and technology businesses
