About This Role

Tech Mahindra is hiring International Non-Voice Chat Support Executives for its BPO division. In this role you will handle live chat conversations with customers from the US, UK, or Australia — no voice calls. The process runs in night shift (IST) to align with international client time zones. This is an office-based role with transport provided for night shift employees. Freshers and candidates with prior chat support experience are both welcome to apply.

Role Context

Tech Mahindra's international non-voice process handles customer service for a global telecom or e-commerce client. You will manage 3–4 simultaneous chat conversations covering order tracking, billing queries, account changes, and technical troubleshooting. The work is fast-paced but structured — a team lead monitors chat queues in real time and assists when a conversation needs escalation. Night shift attracts an additional allowance and all employees working after 9 PM are provided cab drops.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle 3–4 simultaneous live chat conversations with international customers
  • Resolve queries related to orders, billing, account management, and basic technical issues
  • Maintain average handle time and CSAT targets as defined by the client SLA
  • Type accurate and professional responses in English — no grammatical errors
  • Escalate complex cases to voice or specialist support queue with proper notes
  • Complete post-chat case documentation in the CRM system

Requirements

  • Any graduation (12th pass also considered for experienced candidates)
  • Excellent written English — grammar, spelling, and tone are assessed in the interview
  • Typing speed: minimum 40 WPM with 95%+ accuracy
  • Willingness to work in night shift: 9 PM – 6 AM IST or 11 PM – 8 AM IST
  • Prior international chat process experience is a strong advantage
