About This Role
ContentFirst India is hiring talented Remote Content Writers to create high-quality written content for blogs, websites, marketing campaigns, and social media platforms. You will collaborate with clients and editors from your own home, contributing to content strategies that drive traffic, build brand authority, and engage target audiences across diverse industry verticals.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and write well-structured, SEO-optimised articles, blog posts, web pages, and product descriptions on assigned topics
- Produce marketing copy for email campaigns, social media captions, ad creatives, and landing pages
- Follow detailed content briefs including keyword targets, word counts, tone of voice guidelines, and audience personas
- Edit and proofread your own content before submission to ensure it is grammatically correct, engaging, and original
- Conduct competitor research and keyword analysis to inform content strategy recommendations
- Submit content within agreed deadlines and accept editorial feedback gracefully and promptly
- Collaborate with designers to brief visual requirements that complement written content pieces
- Track published content performance and contribute ideas for improving engagement and organic reach
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Mass Communication, Journalism, or any field with exceptional writing ability
- Demonstrable writing portfolio with published or sample articles across one or more niches
- Strong command of English grammar, style, and structure for online content
- Basic understanding of SEO principles, keyword usage, and on-page optimisation best practices
- Ability to meet deadlines consistently while managing multiple content assignments simultaneously
- Familiarity with WordPress, content management systems, or Google Docs-based editorial workflows
