About This Role

ConnectSales India is hiring Retail Sales Associates for its client-managed retail locations in Delhi. The role involves greeting customers, understanding their needs, demonstrating products, processing sales transactions, and ensuring a consistently positive in-store experience. This is an entry-level retail sales position suited to freshers and candidates with up to two years of customer-facing experience who are comfortable working in a structured retail environment with daily sales targets.

Role Context

You will report to the Floor Manager and work within a team of six to eight retail associates at a single store location in Delhi. Shifts rotate across morning, afternoon, and evening, with one fixed day off per week. Daily briefings are held at shift start to review targets, promotions, and product knowledge updates. Individual sales contribution is tracked, and top performers are recognized weekly. The role involves standing for extended periods and moving around the store floor throughout each shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers as they enter and engage them with relevant questions to understand their needs
• Demonstrate product features and benefits tailored to each customer's stated requirements
• Close sales by guiding customers confidently through the selection and purchase process
• Process cash, card, and UPI transactions accurately and maintain till reconciliation
• Maintain product display standards including restocking, signage, and cleanliness on the floor
• Upsell accessories, warranties, and complementary products during each transaction
• Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate unresolved issues to the Floor Manager
• Meet daily and weekly individual sales targets set by the Floor Manager each morning

Requirements & Skills

• 0–2 years of retail sales or customer service experience; freshers with strong communication are welcome
• Confident, friendly, and professional demeanor with customers from diverse backgrounds
• Ability to explain product features clearly and answer questions without reading from a script
• Basic cash handling and POS system operation skills
• Comfortable standing, moving, and engaging customers for an eight-hour shift
• Clear communication in Hindi; English proficiency is an advantage for high-footfall locations
• Target-oriented mindset with a positive attitude toward daily sales performance reviews
