About This Role

LeadGrid India is hiring a Pre-Sales Executive for its Bangalore team to support the sales function with technical product demonstrations, RFP/RFI responses, proof of concept setups, and solution scoping for the company's HR tech platform. The role bridges the gap between a prospect's technical questions and the sales team's commercial conversation — you will help customers understand exactly how the product works before they buy it. Role Context

You will report to the Sales Head and work closely with the inside sales team, fielding technical queries from mid-market and enterprise prospects. The pre-sales process typically involves a discovery call, a tailored product demonstration, and one or two follow-up Q&A sessions before the commercial team takes the deal to close. Your role is to ensure the customer understands the product's capabilities and limitations accurately — building trust through clarity, not overselling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct customized product demonstrations for HR technology prospects based on their industry and use case
  • Respond to RFP and RFI submissions with accurate, detailed product capability documentation
  • Set up proof of concept environments for enterprise prospects evaluating the platform against competitors
  • Answer technical product questions from prospects regarding integrations, data security, and API capabilities
  • Collaborate with the product team to stay current on feature releases and communicate them accurately to prospects
  • Create demo environments and sample data sets tailored to prospect industry scenarios
  • Provide deal-specific technical support to sales reps during active negotiations
  • Feed prospect feedback and common objections back to the product team through structured documentation

Requirements & Skills

  • 2–4 years of pre-sales, solutions consulting, or technical sales support experience in a SaaS company
  • Ability to understand and explain SaaS product architecture, integrations, and API functionality clearly
  • Strong product demonstration skills — comfort presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience preparing RFP responses and technical product documentation for procurement processes
  • Familiarity with HR technology concepts including payroll, leave management, or performance management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English for enterprise prospect communication
  • Collaborative and detail-oriented — accuracy in technical claims matters more than persuasion here
