About This Role

SalesForce India is hiring a Sales Manager for its Hyderabad office to lead a team of four Sales Executives and drive new business growth across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The role involves territory planning, team coaching, pipeline reviews, direct enterprise deal involvement, and reporting to regional leadership. This is a player-coach position — you will carry a personal team revenue target and actively support reps in closing larger deals while developing the skills of each team member through structured coaching.

Role Context

You will report to the National Sales Head and lead the Hyderabad sales team responsible for acquiring new logistics and distribution company clients in the two-state region. The team has an established pipeline, a functioning CRM, and a supportive marketing function generating inbound leads monthly. Your primary challenge is improving conversion rates, shortening average sales cycles, and growing the team's new logo acquisition beyond current baseline results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of four Sales Executives through weekly one-on-ones and deal reviews
  • Set and track monthly individual and team revenue targets with transparent pipeline reporting to leadership
  • Personally engage in complex enterprise deals as a senior deal sponsor and negotiator
  • Conduct territory and account planning sessions with the team each quarter
  • Review CRM pipeline quality weekly to ensure deal stages and forecast data are accurate
  • Hire new sales team members as the territory expands with support from HR and regional leadership
  • Coordinate with marketing for local event support, case study content, and inbound lead management
  • Report team performance, market feedback, and competitive intelligence to National Sales Head monthly

Requirements & Skills

  • 4–7 years of B2B sales experience with at least 2 years managing a sales team in a technology or SaaS company
  • Demonstrated ability to coach junior sales reps and improve individual conversion and activity metrics
  • Experience managing a CRM-tracked pipeline at team level with forecast accuracy accountability
  • Comfort in enterprise deal situations including multi-stakeholder negotiations and procurement processes
  • Strong Telugu and English communication skills for client engagement across the two-state region
  • Analytical enough to identify pipeline quality issues early rather than discovering them at end of quarter
  • Self-driven, organized, and capable of operating with limited top-down supervision
