About This Role

LeadGrid India is hiring an Inside Sales Representative for its Bangalore team to handle inbound and outbound sales for its HR tech platform. The role involves qualifying inbound demo requests, conducting product walkthroughs over video call, following up with prospects through the pipeline, and converting trials to paid subscriptions. It is an inside sales role — all client interaction happens via phone, video, and email with no field travel involved. Freshers and candidates with up to two years of inside sales experience are both encouraged to apply.

Role Context

Reporting to the Inside Sales Lead, you will handle a daily pipeline of inbound leads from marketing as well as a personal outbound prospecting quota targeting HR managers and founders at companies with 20–200 employees. The average deal size is small to mid-range, with sales cycles typically closing in one to three weeks. CRM hygiene and follow-up discipline are tracked closely — a well-managed pipeline is as important as closed revenue here.

Key Responsibilities

  • Qualify inbound demo requests through initial discovery calls to assess fit and budget readiness
  • Conduct structured product demonstrations via Zoom or Google Meet for HR and operations stakeholders
  • Follow up with prospects through defined pipeline stages using CRM-tracked touchpoints
  • Execute daily outbound prospecting via LinkedIn, cold email, and cold call sequences
  • Convert free trial users to paid subscribers through timely engagement and value reinforcement
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date pipeline data in the CRM with correct deal stages and expected close dates
  • Coordinate with the customer success team for smooth onboarding of newly closed accounts
  • Share product feedback from prospect conversations with the product team through structured notes

Requirements & Skills

  • 0–2 years of inside sales or business development experience; freshers with strong communication are welcome
  • Confident verbal communication in English and ability to run structured product demonstrations via video call
  • Comfort with cold outreach including cold email writing and cold calling without scripting
  • Working knowledge of CRM tools such as Zoho CRM, HubSpot, or Freshsales for pipeline management
  • Self-disciplined and target-oriented with the ability to manage 40–60 prospect touchpoints per day
  • Genuine interest in SaaS products and the HR technology domain is a meaningful advantage
  • Ability to handle rejection professionally and maintain consistent prospecting effort regardless of daily outcomes
