About This Role

SalesForce India is hiring a Sales Executive for its Mumbai office to drive new business acquisition for its B2B SaaS product suite used by logistics and distribution companies. The role involves prospecting, qualifying leads, running product demonstrations, and closing accounts in the SME segment. This is a field-and-inside sales hybrid role, with roughly 60% of client interactions happening in person across Mumbai and the surrounding region. Target-oriented candidates with 1–3 years of B2B sales experience are encouraged to apply.

Role Context

You will report to the Regional Sales Manager and carry a personal monthly revenue target covering new logo acquisition within your assigned territory. The sales cycle for this product ranges from two to six weeks depending on company size and buying committee involvement. You will be supported by a pre-sales engineer for technical demonstrations and a marketing team that provides qualified inbound leads alongside your own outbound prospecting efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect new B2B accounts through cold outreach, LinkedIn, and referrals within the logistics sector
  • Qualify leads using discovery calls to assess fit, budget, and purchasing timeline before progressing
  • Schedule and conduct product demonstrations for operations and procurement decision-makers
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline in the CRM with accurate deal stages and forecast values
  • Negotiate commercial terms with clients and close accounts within the approved pricing framework
  • Coordinate with the onboarding team to ensure smooth customer handoff after deal closure
  • Meet assigned monthly and quarterly new business revenue targets consistently
  • Attend client sites within Mumbai and surrounding areas for in-person meetings and follow-ups

Requirements & Skills

  • 1–3 years of B2B sales experience in SaaS, technology, or logistics services
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a full sales cycle from prospecting through deal closure
  • Comfortable running product demonstrations for both technical and business audiences
  • Proficiency with CRM tools such as Salesforce, Zoho CRM, or HubSpot for pipeline management
  • Strong verbal communication and negotiation skills in English and Hindi
  • Self-motivated, target-focused, and comfortable with a compensation structure that includes performance incentives
  • Willingness to travel within Mumbai and Maharashtra for client meetings regularly
