Tour Coordinator – Heritage & Spiritual Tourism | Varanasi | Fresher

About This Role

Kashi Heritage Tours is hiring Tour Coordinators to manage domestic and international tourist groups visiting Varanasi. This is a client-facing role where you will plan itineraries, coordinate with guides and hotels, and ensure guests have a smooth and meaningful experience. Varanasi is one of India's top spiritual tourism destinations and sees over 6 million visitors annually — this role puts you at the centre of a growing hospitality and tourism economy.

Role Context

You will handle 2–4 group bookings daily during peak season (October to March) and individual bookings year-round. Work involves advance coordination with boat operators for Ganga aarti tours, heritage walk guides, and partner hotels. You will communicate with guests via WhatsApp and phone before arrival and accompany groups for the first hour of the itinerary on key occasions.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and confirm tour itineraries for incoming domestic and international groups
• Coordinate with local guides, boat operators, and hotel partners for bookings
• Communicate pre-trip information to guests via WhatsApp and email
• Resolve last-minute changes — alternate activities, hotel swaps, transport delays
• Collect feedback from guests after tour completion and report to management
• Maintain booking records and generate invoices for each tour

Requirements & Skills

• Any graduation — Tourism, Hospitality, or Arts background preferred
• Good English communication — many international guests require English interaction
• Deep knowledge of Varanasi — ghats, temples, cultural significance
• Comfortable using WhatsApp, Google Maps, and basic booking software
• Patient, warm personality with a genuine interest in hospitality
• Freshers with a passion for Varanasi's culture are encouraged to apply
