Role Context

You will join an account team serving 1–2 major brand clients, partnering with account managers, creatives, and media planners. Your role is to translate business objectives into digital marketing strategy — defining the right audience segments, channel mix, content frameworks, and measurement approaches. Wunderman Thompson clients span commerce, CRM, and brand building, and your strategies will need to address all three.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop digital marketing strategies aligned to client business goals and KPIs
  • Conduct audience research using social listening, survey data, and behavioral analytics
  • Map customer journeys and identify key digital touchpoints for campaign activation
  • Write clear strategy decks for client presentations and internal team briefings
  • Evaluate competitive digital presence and surface strategic opportunities
  • Collaborate with media planners to recommend channel mix and budget allocation

Requirements & Skills

  • Bachelor's in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • 2–4 years in a digital marketing strategy, planning, or analytics role (agency preferred)
  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills — ability to write persuasive strategy decks
  • Experience using social listening tools (Brandwatch, Sprinklr, or Synthesio)
  • Understanding of paid, owned, and earned media and how they work together
  • Excellent research skills and comfort synthesizing large amounts of market data
