Role Context

Netflix's marketing analytics team is responsible for measuring how efficiently the company converts ad spend into subscribers and retained viewers. Requirements & Skills

  • Bachelor's in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or a quantitative field
  • Advanced SQL — comfortable with window functions, CTEs, and complex joins
  • Python (pandas, matplotlib) for ad hoc data analysis
  • Experience with causal inference methods — A/B testing, difference-in-differences, or geo experiments
  • Tableau or Looker for dashboard development
  • Strong narrative communication — able to write a clear, well-structured analytical memo
