Role Context

The SEO team at Semrush manages one of the most-visited marketing blogs in the world, attracting millions of organic visitors per month. You will work alongside content strategists and developers to close gaps in keyword coverage, fix technical SEO issues, and grow organic traffic through structured testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research and map opportunities to existing or new content
• Run technical site audits using Semrush Site Audit and Google Search Console
• Analyze SERP features and competitor rankings to prioritize content updates
• Optimize on-page elements including titles, meta descriptions, headers, and internal links
• Track organic performance with weekly and monthly reporting on rankings and traffic
• Collaborate with developers on crawl budget, Core Web Vitals, and schema markup

Requirements & Skills

• Bachelor's in Marketing, Communications, or a technical field
• Working knowledge of Semrush, Ahrefs, or Moz
• Familiarity with Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4
• Basic HTML knowledge for on-page optimization tasks
• Strong organizational skills — ability to manage multiple audits simultaneously
• Experience with Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis
