Role Context

Content strategists at Meta work across product marketing, brand, and communications teams to shape how Meta tells stories about its products and mission. You might own the help center content strategy for WhatsApp, develop the tone and voice guidelines for a new product launch, or create the editorial calendar for Meta's creator economy blog. The work spans writing, strategy, and stakeholder management in roughly equal measure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop content strategy and messaging frameworks for product launches and marketing campaigns
  • Write and edit a wide range of content formats — web copy, blog posts, email, in-app messaging
  • Define and maintain tone-of-voice guidelines for specific products or channels
  • Conduct content audits and identify gaps or inconsistencies in existing content ecosystems

Requirements & Skills

  • 2+ years of content strategy or content marketing experience at a tech company
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills across multiple formats and registers
  • Ability to translate complex product features or policies into clear, user-friendly language
  • Experience developing messaging frameworks and brand voice guidelines
  • Familiarity with content management systems and basic web publishing workflows
  • Comfort with analytics tools to measure content effectiveness
