About This Role

Fresher Hub is looking for a Social Media Assistant who can manage our Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook presence on a part time work from home basis. If you spend time on social media anyway and have an eye for what kind of posts get engagement, this is a way to turn that interest into income. You will be creating posts, scheduling content, and tracking basic performance — no photography degree or design certification required. We use Canva and free tools throughout.

Role Context

You will work under a senior marketing coordinator who oversees strategy. Your job is execution — turning content ideas into scheduled posts. We have a content calendar that outlines topics two weeks ahead, so you always know what is coming. Most days require about 2–3 hours of work: creating 1–2 graphics in Canva, writing captions, and replying to DMs or comments. Some weeks may have higher volume during campaigns or hiring drives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create simple graphics for Instagram and LinkedIn using Canva templates provided
  • Write engaging post captions tailored to each platform's tone
  • Schedule posts using Buffer or Later as per the monthly content calendar
  • Monitor and reply to comments and direct messages within 12 hours
  • Compile a weekly engagement report (reach, likes, shares, DM volume)
  • Research trending hashtags and suggest new content angles to the coordinator
  • Repurpose blog content into carousel posts or short video scripts

Requirements & Skills

  • Active personal use of Instagram or LinkedIn — you understand the platform natively
  • Basic Canva skills (can learn within a week if you do not know it yet)
  • Clear, engaging writing style — captions that feel natural, not corporate
  • Consistent availability for 2–3 hours per day, preferably in the afternoon
  • Any degree accepted — marketing or mass comm background is a bonus
  • A smartphone and laptop both required for this role
