Daycare Worker Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities
- Implement daily program plans for cognitive and physical development
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment
- Communicate daily observations and progress to parents
- Follow all licensing requirements and childcare regulations
Requirements
- Early Childhood Education (ECE) certificate or diploma preferred
- Genuine love for working with young children
- Patient, energetic, and creative
- Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check required
- First Aid and CPR certification required
Compensation
- CAD $19–$26/hour depending on ECE level
- Government wage enhancement supplement applied
