About This Role

Fresher Hub is placing a Cold Storage Warehouse Supervisor with a mid-sized FMCG distribution company in Navi Mumbai. The warehouse handles temperature-sensitive products — dairy, frozen food, and processed beverages — and operates two shifts across a 12,000 square foot facility near the Taloja industrial corridor. The supervisor role oversees a team of 18 to 22 warehouse workers and is responsible for maintaining storage compliance, inbound and outbound accuracy, and shift productivity.

Role Context

You will report to the Regional Warehouse Manager who is based in the same facility. Cold chain compliance is monitored through a temperature logging system, and you are accountable for flagging any breach immediately. The warehouse runs two 9-hour shifts. Each shift supervisor handles inbound receiving, pick and pack operations, and outbound dispatch loading. Stock discrepancies above a defined threshold trigger a mandatory root cause investigation that you will lead.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee inbound receiving — verify quantities, inspect for damage, and update WMS stock records
Ensure FEFO stock rotation is followed across all cold storage sections without exception
Monitor temperature logs at the start and midpoint of each shift and escalate any breach
Assign pick and pack tasks to warehouse workers based on daily dispatch priority lists
Coordinate with the transport team for loading sequences to meet delivery departure times
Conduct daily cycle counts for fast-moving SKUs and weekly counts for full sections
Manage worker attendance, shift schedules, and daily productivity reports

Requirements & Skills

Graduate in any discipline; supply chain or operations management is preferred
3 to 5 years of warehouse experience with at least 1 year in cold chain or FMCG operations
Working knowledge of WMS software and basic Excel for stock reporting
Able to manage a team of 18 to 22 workers across a physically demanding shift environment
Familiar with FEFO protocols and food safety storage standards
Comfortable working rotational shifts including one Sunday per month
